The ENEX team is drawn from the broadcast and digital industry. With our headquarters in Luxembourg our staff is highly international and multi-lingual. Each team member is specialized in their own field as well as ENEX’s core functions

Managing Director: Adrian Wells

Adrian has been the MD of ENEX since 2014. He has managed the company through its global expansion and development into commercial services. Before ENEX Adrian held several senior positions with Sky News UK including Head of Foreign News and Director of International Development.

Adrian was Launch Director or Sky News Arabia which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi.

Before his career with Sky, Adrian worked for the BBC in various positions including Middle East Bureau Chief, Planning Editor, World Assignments Editor and Europe Producer. He is also Chairman of the Judges of the Royal Television Society’s news awards.

Head of News: Mark Evans

Mark Evans joined ENEX in 2013 and is responsible for the news agency’s daily news output. Mark has re-orientated ENEX to focus on achieving a high output of quality daily news gathering from across the world.

Previously, Mark was Head of Home News at Sky News, a team which won special recognition from the British Academy of Film and Television (BAFTA) for its coverage.  Prior to Sky Mark started his career with daily newspapers in particular the Daily Express.

Head of Finance and Business Operations: Sime Jurlina

Experienced professional with proven success as an on-staff leader in global broadcast and business environments. Extensive background in the media industry, business, finance, and data management. Strong ability to build and lead teams that meet and exceed designated goals and expectations. Responsible for budgeting and delivering the P&L driving sustainable profitable growth. Highly proficient at using data to develop and implement processes and initiatives that improve operational efficiencies. Demonstrated skills in managing projects from concept to completion ensuring results delivery. Top of the class MBA degree holder and Tableau Certified expert.

Business Partner: Stefanie Kiefer

Stefanie entered ENEX and the news industry in 2013, bringing dynamic management expertise cultivated in an international environment in various industries. Stefanie excels in analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication.

She plays a vital role in keeping office operations smooth, drawing on her diverse background. Having traversed the globe and lived in the United States, South Africa, and India, Stefanie has returned to Luxembourg, close by her hometown in Germany.

Planning Editor: Nicole Schrambke

Nicole is responsible for ENEX’s forward planning operation, coordinating all future news events including key elections, summits, sporting events etc.  Nicole has had a long association with ENEX and is very familiar with every ENEX partner and their newsrooms.

Nicole is also ENEX’s key point of contact for partner requests on how each company can cooperate on the ground when teams deploy.

Lead Engineer: Vladimir Crnomarkovic

Vladimir prides himself on his serious, devoted, and passionate dedication to his  work and technology in general. He is always eager to learn new skills a expand his  knowledge. An engineer at heart, he is always ready to face any challenge and fix broken things.

Vladimir is responsible for ENEX’s MCR operations, integrating new hardware and software and is frequently deployed to the field for news operations.

News Editor: Terence Jarosz

Terence is one of ENEX’s most experienced News Editors. He has special responsibility for the Nordic region and also ENEX’s French speaking partners.

Terence also presents his own podcast on RTL platforms.

News Editor: Shaqe Egoyan

Shaqe is one of the News Editors coordinating ENEX’s global network of 55+ news stations.  Shaqe has specific responsibility involves overseeing news coverage in Eastern Europe and Asia, directly liaising with channels in Ukraine, Poland, China, and Taiwan.

A crucial aspect of her role is to source third-party material from various sources worldwide, including private production companies, government feeds, UGC and online streams.

As the News Editor of the day Shaqe prioritizes news coverage based on importance and relevance, allocating tasks effectively to team members.

Before working at ENEX Shaqe was a journalist at NTV based in Moscow.

News Editor: Andras Vizler

Andras curates daily news content for partners, coordinates news exchange across channels and organises live broadcasts. Since 2022 he has also acted as a Technical Coordinator with ENEX’s MCR.

Before joining ENEX in 2014, Andras honed his journalistic skills as a news editor and news anchor for various Hungarian radio stations since 2008.

News Editor: Oana Matei

Oana is part of ENEX’s News Editor Team.  She joined ENEX in 2019 after a successful career with ProTV Romania where she was international editor.  Oana is widely experienced in international news journalism having coordinated and produced coverage for the biggest international events such as US Presidential elections, European elections, summits and royal events.

She is a specialist in copyright and has experience in content contracts with other international news agencies. Oana has strong media links in Central and Eastern Europe and in particular supports ENEX partners who belong to the CME Media Group. She also produced a film show for ProCinema, ProTV’s movie channel!

Middle East Manager and Technical Coordinator: Hamza El Attar

Hamza has long experience working in the audio visual sector, first as a cameraman in Gaza and subsequently in a variety of roles for the leading news channels of Al Arabiya, based in Dubai and Sky News Arabiya, based in Abu Dhabi.  Hamza has a wide network of influential contacts in the Middle East arena and is a frequent expert guest commentator on Middle East affairs.  Hamza is also a skilled photographer, technician and field operator.

Technical Coordinator : Rogier Prikkel

With a background in IT and an interest in media that went from a hobby to professional, Rogier has previously acted as Playout Director for RTL Netherlands, making a jump into broadcasting.  Now Rogier is part of the ENEX  technical coordination team ensuring  the required signals are captured and routed correctly and supporting and assisting the News Desk when necessary.

Freelance Producer: Nadija Drlic

Nadija is part of ENEX’s freelance team particularly for ENEX’s media services events.  She is an experienced field and newsroom producer who is used to working on a variety of projects including hard news but also cultural issues.

She also acts as a reporter and is also associated and works for RTL Germany and VOX Germany among others.

Senior Digital Editor: Colm McGlinchey

Colm is ENEX’s lead on souring and verifying news from social media.

Before moving to journalism Colm had several year’s experience in IT. He then joined Storyful where he worked in news verification under Malachy Browne before finding his way to ENEX in 2019.

Colm works remotely for ENEX from Dublin, Ireland.

Freelance News Editor: Nelly Barreto

Nelly has worked at a senior capacity for ENEX’s Latin American ‘sister’ organisation the Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana for many years.

Now living outside of the Colombian captial, Bogota, she frequently freelances for ENEX providing online news editing duties and special expertise in Latin America.

Global Distribution Manager: Alexander Kengen

Alexander is the Global Distribution Manager at ENEX since 2024. He has over 15 years of experience working as a journalist, editor and international producer in the media industry.

At ENEX, Alexander is responsible for managing media services and maintaining relationships with international media partners. He specializes in the MENA region and regularly attends major events in the UAE, leading a team of over 25 media channels for International Media Government Forum in Sharjah and Global Media Congress in Abu Dhabi, World Expo hosted in Dubai.

Before joining ENEX, Alexander worked in the French media market for TV channels such as M6, France 24, and TF1/LCI.

Alexander’s passion for journalism and his ability to build relationships make him a valuable asset in the global media industry. He continues to drive ENEX’s global distribution efforts with his commitment to excellence and innovation.

Head of Special Events and Latin America Lead: Nicoletta Pispisa

After studying Audiovisual Media in Madrid, Nicoletta worked in different media, in Spain, such as Antena 3, Atlas, Cuatro and CNN+, doing production work, both in the newsroom and in the field.

She started work for ENEX in 2012 in Luxembourg, first as a news editor and then, from 2016 onwards, as a special events producer, organising productions and facilitating transmissions for partners on the occasion of big news events.  Nicoletta also maintains close links with ENEX’s Latin American partners.

Manager Systems and Development : Ralph Joachim

Ralph started his career in 1988 as an IT specialist and assistant director at the RTL Germany Breakfast TV under the leadership of future ENEX founder Nic Jakob. He participated in the relocation of the operations to East Berlin in 1991 following the fall of the iron curtain.

Ralph left Berlin for Brussels 2 years later to become RTL´s EU office producer covering Benelux stories, EU Councils, NATO and G8 Summits. His office being at the RTL Belgium headquarters, he was one of the early users of ENEX services.

In 2004, he returned to Luxembourg and join ENEX as a Technical Coordinator and Developer, creating Web applications and transforming workflows over the last 20 years until a complete migration to the Cloud.
