Connect With Our Network Of Services

News Exchange Platform ( NEP )

AI technologies are revolutionizing the news industry. ENEX’s NEP platform incorporates the latest speech to text and transciption AI services so that content can be more easily shared and used by ENEX’s members across different language zones. A news partner in Slovenia can easily translate content from France, Spain or even Lithuania into their own native language with a high degree of accuracy.

NEP runs on cloud services with a system of accelerated file exchange and enhanced content search capabilities. It can be accessed at any journalist’s desktop or broadcaster video ingest system through highly secure authentication protocols.

NEP is constantly updated with new features incorporating other AI technologies and products.

Members News Portal

Being on air since 5 years, the members.enex.news Members News portal is an additional important pillar of the wider distribution redundancy strategy at ENEX. Being deployed on AWS EKS Cloud hosting, it offers direct access to over 4 years of News video material. The videos are quickly retrievable via a powerful and responsive Eleasticsearch integration and globally replicated via AWS Cloudfront.

Unlike our main platform NEP, the Members portal is covering the wider crowd of the ENEX audience, Newsroom media managers and editors. Our main NEP platform is directly bound to the core of our distribution automation workflows and its Cloud Agents deployed at partners systems and therefore more critical requires strict multi factor authentication.

Being based on one of the most popular open source CMS,  the Members News portal has additional communication features like the Intercom assistance and service chat and offers on demand NTSC media transcoding.

LiveU Matrix

LiveU Matrix is a next-generation cloud video platform that allows live content to be shared in high-quality and low latency.  It allows users to replace expensive leased lines and/or satellite uplinks.  To connect to Matrix you need a LiveU server in your MCR to allow you to receive ENEX’s live offer.

ENEX can send 4 separate live feeds at any one time offering you the opportunity to decide which lives to take to air.  During major news events several different sources of the same event can be offered. You can mix your own coverage with your studio output.

ENEX has more than 200 connected LiveU units of our partners all over the world. If breaking news happens in Australia, Austria or Argentina it’s likely one of our partner’s LiveU units will be the first to be deployed.

LiveU Matrix is the biggest live video exchange network. It is a cloud-native IP video distribution platform, reliable and cost-effective.  Matrix lets you share and receive high-quality, low-latency live feeds with and from broadcasters and other organisations around the world whether or not they are full-time ENEX partners.

Satellite Transmissions

ENEX holds permanent leased capacity on Eutelsat 16A and can access other satellites through its teleport in Junglinster, Luxembourg. Eutelsat 16A allows transmissions across the MENA region, from Afghanistan to Ireland.

Use ENEX’s MCR coordination centre to access other satellites as required in whichever bandwidth you require.

ENEX’s standard single channel bandwidth is 3.8Mhz or 7.6Mhz for a double channel if booking from ENEX’s own capacity. If you prefer 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, or 18Mhz it can be booked using ENEX’s preferential rate card.
