Enex has signed a partnership agreement with GA – Global Africa, a new media venture which aims to bring high quality news to audiences across Africa and the rest of the world.

The channel will focus on Africa’s relations with the world, and the world as it matters to Africa.  Presently, Global Africa is in pre-launch operations with work underway to position the channel’s editorial vision with a number of pilot programmes commissioned from Asia, America, Africa and Europe.

Co-Founder and CEO Najib Gouiaa clarifies: ”We do not cover Africa’s domestic news. We cover Africa’s relations with the rest of the world, and the world as it matters to Africa – delivering news intelligence to Africa’s globally connected, affluent elite. The other global broadcasters cover Africa. We cover for Africans.”

Enex Managing Director Adrian Wells said: ”Africa will hold 40% of of global youth by 2030 and is of vital economic importance with huge assets in critical minerals, agricultural potential and future trade prospects. But, Africa is under-represented by quality media and we are delighted to partner with Global Africa which aims to correct that deficit.”

Global Africa is planning to develop its technical and editorial offer in partnership with RTL and BCE in Luxembourg before eventually transferring operations to a multi-million dollar media city in Mauritius.

A leading financial news service, DB News has joined ENEX’s global partnership network. DB News offers real-time breaking news services to financial institutions and customers which rely on instant knowledge of news developments that influence and move financial markets. A DB News spokesperson said: “As a digital-first newswire we don’t fit the typical profile of a broadcaster but ENEX understood what we do from day one and worked with us to make it happen. We’re proud to be part of a network that has set the standard for trusted news for over 30 years.”

ENEX’s Managing Director, Adrian Wells explained: ”ENEX now has many more digital, audio and diversified partners in addition to our traditional broadcast partners. We were delighted that DB News found our services to be faster than our rivals and this is an exciting new partnership for us.”

With its headquarters in London, DB News covers all the major financial markets including crypto currencies, equities, foreign exchange, commodities and interest rates. Its service covers flash headlines as well as deeper financial insights.
