ENEX’s 2026 Coordinators’ Meeting, hosted by RTL Luxembourg
SHARING and collaboration were the key themes of ENEX’s 2026 Coordinators’ Meeting, hosted by RTL Luxembourg.
Sessions on AI uses and abuses, harnessing new technology to solve newsroom problems, fake news, and protecting journalists’ mental health, as well as updates on ongoing stories in Hungary and Ukraine, demonstrated the collective power of ENEX members.
Mark Evans, ENEX Head of News, said: “It is clear we all face many of the same problems in our newsrooms and we believe ENEX can play an important role in bringing its partners together to find some shared solutions. This conference was another demonstration of the strength in this network.”
The conference brought together more than 50 journalists from member newsrooms around the world, representing Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and the US, and was hosted in RTL City, in Luxembourg.
It was supported by RTL Luxembourg, and Red Bull, while Julio Pinho of Lux Provide, and Tarjei Gilbrant of Kilkaya (https://kilkaya.com/ ) were specially-invited speakers.
The Luxembourg government also lent its support to the event, in the form of its Let’s Make It Happen initiative.
